Who's it for?

Built for local events first, with the foundations for larger venues.

Local Tickets is aimed at the organisers who need ticketing to be affordable, easy to explain and dependable when the booking link starts moving around a community. Free events will always be free to use, paid tickets have a 40p Local Tickets platform fee, and charity discounts are handled case by case.

Productions and theatre groups

Create date-led ticket pages for plays, dance shows, school productions, touring performances and community theatre runs, with room plans, price bands and restricted-view notes where needed.

Theatres and performance venues

Manage staged spaces, balconies, wheelchair seats, companion allocations, premium or banded seating, venue landmarks and future seat-view media for buyers.

Bands, comedy and live music

Sell standing, seated or mixed tickets for gigs, club nights, open mic events, comedy evenings and small festivals.

Pantomimes and family shows

Handle multiple dates, concessions, family groups, capacity limits, accessibility notes and buyer-friendly event information.

Charities, PTAs and fundraisers

Keep fees clear, make sharing easy and support events where every pound raised needs to work harder, with case-by-case charity platform-fee discounts.

Attractions and experiences

Support timed entry, repeatable sessions, seasonal events, tours and visitor experiences that need simple capacity control.

Swimming pools and timed sessions

Sell capacity-managed sessions throughout the day without a seating plan, while still using templates, event media, merchandise and secure checkout.

Clubs and activity bookings

Handle club nights, sports sessions, workshops, classes and membership-friendly bookings with ticket limits, access notes and attendee exports.

Cinemas and film nights

Sell tickets for independent cinemas, film clubs, special screenings, film festivals and one-off community cinema events.

Larger venues and programmes

Give venue teams a scalable route for campaigns, creator access, room layouts, reserved seating, sales reporting, promotional placements and reliable checkout when demand spikes.

Local-first does not mean small-only

The site should speak to community organisers and venue managers in the same breath.

A small event needs quick setup and low fees, especially when tickets are free or fundraising matters. A larger venue needs repeatability, buyer trust, reporting and scale. The product direction keeps both in view from the start.

Single night one event, simple capacity, one organiser
Multi-date run several performances, concessions and buyer updates
Venue programme creator accounts, room plans, reporting and busy on-sale windows

Flexible by design

Different event types need different booking tools.

The roadmap keeps seated venues, standing events, timed-entry attractions and organiser sales tools in the same product direction, so Local Tickets can grow without becoming a narrow theatre-only or gig-only system.

Seated events

Seat maps, price bands, restricted-view discounts, wheelchair and easy-access seats, held or blocked seats and buyer-facing seat choice where approved.

Standing and flexible spaces

Standing zones, table plans, mixed-capacity rooms, venue landmarks and simple layouts for halls, clubs and larger spaces.

Timed-capacity events

Time slots, rolling admissions, attraction sessions, pool bookings, tours and repeatable daily capacity windows.

Media-rich sales pages

Event templates, hero graphics, secondary graphics, images, supported videos, approved audio files, useful links and clear accessibility details.

Merchandise and add-ons

Event and organisation merchandise, product variants, media, stock tracking, ticket-linked offers, donations, vouchers and bundles once rules are approved.

Marketplace growth

Homepage search, local discovery, New and Trending, In My Area, category boosts, venue spotlights, widgets, affiliate links and verified reviews.
